about Live Writing
Writing is a glorious activity. We can write for publication, we can write in our private diaries. No one can tell us not to write. Writing allows us to express ourselves freely, without fear of censure, until such time as we choose to share what we have written.

Grants and financial assistance
The construction of this site was made possible with financial assistance from seda: the Small Enterprise Development Agency - the Department of Trade and Industry's agency for supporting small business in South Africa. Live Writing also received a grant from NAC: the National Arts Council of South Africa. The National Arts Council funding has been especially valuable in helping to establish the Live Writing Fund.
